- Favorite Treatment: Photofacial and eMatrix. Both are amazing!
I don’t even know how I got here! For 20 years I was a stay at home mom, then it seems overnight I was an esthetician and laser technician and found myself working at National Laser Institute. I absolutely love this industry and our school. I love meeting students that travel from all over the world to get to us. Hearing the stories of each individual and what brought them to us and the decisions they made in their personal lives that led them to this career.

Before I came to find refuge in the desert, I found myself trading in the streets for the beach as I made the journey from Los Angeles down to San Diego, where I studied Business Administration at California State University, San Marcos. After a stint in paradise, it was time to see what the Valley of the Sun had in store! What I found was the National Laser Institute, my oasis and fountain of youth! I have come to love the ever growing medical aesthetic industry and can’t wait for National Laser Institute to expand to new locations so I can see what other gems I will discover!

I received my Bachelors Degree from Liberty University in Virginia. I decided I wanted to wake up every day to sunshine and palm trees, so I moved Arizona 3 years ago and love it here. No more ice scrapers for me! My favorite success story here at National Laser Institute comes from a student of mine who was very nervous about her financial investment and the job opportunities that would follow completion of our program. The same week she was in school I received a call from a local dermatologist looking for a laser tech. Not only did she land a great job at a derm’s office but landed it while she was still in school! I keep every note and kind thank you email I have ever received from my students. Thanks guys! The most rewarding part of my job is to be able to see you succeed with your passions for the medical aesthetics field.

I have always been captivated by the booming skincare and laser industry and can’t seem to get enough of it! I love my position as an admissions representative here at National Laser Institute and helping people everyday achieve their dreams and goals of a new and exciting career in this field. The amazing life changes that can be accomplished with this training are astounding!

I graduated nursing school many moons ago. I also taught aerobics, did personal coaching and many other things. I get bored easily, but never at National Laser Institute! I have done a lot of bouncing around from job to job, but I think I have found a place to call home. I have been an athlete my whole life. I earned an education by using my skills in baseball. I continued to play ball, earning a small living before I became self-employed. I then went into real estate investing, accounting, and other various small businesses. Wanting a career to make me happy, I continued to search for “my niche.” Somewhere on this path, I ran into National Laser Institute. I love this job. The people are fun, the industry is second to none, and I get to help people achieve their goals and dreams. What more could you ask for? I am very fortunate and grateful for all that I have. I have lived a blessed life with a promising future thanks to National Laser Institute.

I moved to Arizona 15 years ago and think it is the best place to live. One of my kids is still at home, and the other two are traveling around the world. As a family, we spend a lot of time outdoors and in the summer, we head north a lot to get away from the heat! I recently completed the PF Chang Marathon and enjoyed it so much that I have started training for next year’s event. My job at National Laser Institute is the best. We get to help people from all walks of life change their careers and their lives. Talking to our students after they graduate makes me realize what a difference we make. Cheers, Marty.

I spent almost 10 years in the U.S. Navy 3 years in Iraq and Afghanistan. I loved the military life, travel, excitement and waking up every day knowing that my job affected the well being of millions of people back home. Due to an unforeseen accident in the military, I was medically discharged. It was kind of hard to adjust to being a civilian after my discharge. However, I have found a great home at National Laser Institute. As the saying goes “I once was lost but now I’m found.” I couldn’t imagine working anywhere else. I get to wake up and know that once again my job has a huge impact on changing people’s lives.

- Favorite Treatment: Laser Tattoo Removal. See me zapping my bro’s tattoo! My dad started us young!
Although we do look kind of young to be working at National Laser Institute, daddy says by the time we are old enough to officially zap clients we will be laser light years ahead of the rest! So just like daddy revolutionized laser training, me and my bro are going to revolutionize the way clients get treated. Here is our game plan: Since there are a whole bunch of girl customers at the medispa, wouldn’t these cute female clients much rather have some young male studs be zapping them with lasers versus all these silly National Laser Institute females? I mean come on daddy, we are smarter then we look! In fact, every time they come by we are going to win them over by giving them a free baseball card and a sample taste of our favorite birthday cake Cold Stone ice cream with brownies, fudge, gummy bears and sprinkles, which we will keep in a freezer in the room. Our client retention will be huge! We’re not sure what retention means but daddy said it means they will keep wanting to pay us money so we can buy more baseball cards! Step aside ladies, the Silberman boys are in town. By the way, our good looks come from Mommy! (Sorry Daddy!)
