Dermal Fillers Training

Dermal Fillers TrainingGetting dermal filler training is smart for any medical aesthetics professional.

Dermal fillers are among the most popular ways to reduce wrinkles. The cosmetic treatment is fast, minimally invasive, not very painful and capable of producing noticeable results on the first round.

Since results from dermal fillers last for several months, the treatment doesn’t have to be repeated very often. Further, rising demand has lead to lowered prices, so many people can now afford to look their best with these injections. Many medical clinics and spas around the world are offering dermal fillers to their clients in addition to other medical aesthetic services.

What Are Dermal Fillers?

Dermal fillers contain hyaluronic acid, a substance found naturally in the body, which is injected directly into the sagging spaces in the dermal layers, below the surface of the skin. When collagen starts to weaken and break up with aging, it causes the skin above to sag into the spaces left behind, which results in wrinkles.

Injectable dermal fillers remedy this situation by filling in the spaces. Getting injected with a dermal filler doesn’t take much time and usually produces no side effects. The most anyone usually experiences is some temporary redness and swelling at the site of the injection.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved the use of dermal fillers for the nasolabial folds (also called marionette lines or smile lines), cheeks and lips. Just like Botox, dermal fillers have off-label uses, too. Some of these include under the eyes, the nose, earlobes and the hands.

Dermal Fillers Training at National Laser Institute

Dermal fillers training can usually be accomplished in a day and is a valuable investment in any clinical practice. At National Laser Institute, we offer cosmetic injectable training that can be completed in just 1-2 weeks. We also have weekend courses for those on-the-go!

Each CE/CME cosmetic injectables course is divided into classroom education and clinical hands-on training to provide you with the ultimate learning experience! In the classroom, you will learn things like proper injection techniques, patient selection, pre- and post-patient care and more! The second half of the course is spent doing clinical hands-on training in a medical spa environment with scheduled clients to give you real world experience.

In addition to dermal fillers, you will learn other cosmetic injectables like Botox, Kybella, Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP), sclerotherapy and more!

After training at National Laser Institute, you will feel comfortable and confident to perform these cosmetic injectables treatments in any medical setting!
