So I used to work as an admin assist for a car dealer for years. BORING LOL. I got tired of that decided to go to aesthetic school. I enjoyed it but but needed a little more. Technology seemed way more cutting edge and fun! I found NLI online. Loved my experience, my teachers and students. I found a job just 1.5 weeks after graduating. I worked for a doctor for 1.5 years. I opened my own clinic 9 months ago! I am super busy and booked out. National Laser Institute forever changed my life, I could not be more grateful!! So happy I stepped outside my comfort zone and am now living my dreams!!

A few years ago I started to noticed a change in my skin and started seeing an aesthetician. A simple laser treatment lead me into a passion I never knew I had. I asked her about aesthetics schools and she recommend by passing aesthetics school and going straight to National Laser Institute and nowhere else. Just as luck would have it, I was getting ready to move to Arizona where head quarters are located. I said to myself "okay I have to check this place out now!"   (However, NLI has several training facilities over the US)

The first thing I did was attend a Skin Scene Party. It was the best thing I could have done. Not only did I learn about the industry that I wanted to enter so badly, it was fun. There were so many generous prizes given to the crowd by the CEO and Founder! I was SOLD! I signed up that night!

A few weeks later I started the night class. I attended Monday - Friday 6-10 for 6 weeks. (However, you can go as little as 2 weeks FT). It was so much fun that I literally cried when it was over. I learned SO much and I feel so confident firing a laser and more importantly knowing when not to.

The instructors are the most amazing people in the industry. Louis, The CEO and Founder has found the best of the best to teach their specialty. They are all very knowledgeable, patient, kind, FUN, and make all the information easy to take in.

Here I am less than two months later and I have landed a laser job!  And no, I am not an esthetician or RN. I am a LT (Laser Tech)! I am making really good money with benefits! Your dream job is waiting! If I can do it, you can too!

I stay in contact with my instructors and they are always there for anything I need!

I also have to say something about Louis Silberman, the CEO and Founder. What a truly genuine man! He is not your typical CEO that hides behind a desk. He is there often checking on all his students and making sure they are learning, happy, and pleased. He is very down to earth and truly cares for each and every student, employee, and client. There is no place like NLI and it's all because of Louis Silberman.

I just wanted to reach out and let you know how grateful I am that I was a part of December's Laser class in Dallas!! Only 48 hours after graduation and I got a job offer at one of the best med spas in all of DFW!! This whole experience has been amazing and I am so excited! I owe my all to NLI for prepping me with all that I needed to feel confident and prepared! As a career changer I was nervous that I wasn't going to be a first choice but because of my NLI education and finding a passion that lights me up, I was exactly what the employers in this industry were looking for!

The staff is amazingly knowledgeable and truly encouraging. They sincerely want every student to succeed! Along with an amazing two weeks of class and hands on experiences, I made some of the best memories I will hold near to my heart forever. I am truly blessed to not only have attended NLI, but that my education at the facility helped me land a job with a dermatologist only three days after returning home! I will forever be grateful for the knowledge I gained from NLI, and the relationships I built while I was there.

I attended National Laser Institute’s remote course in Boston, March 2015, and the experience was nothing less than fantastic! At the time I was a recent graduate from an Aesthetics program in NC and after many hours of research I decided on NLI because they are undoubtedly the leading educators in laser theory and training. Every single one of their instructors is extensively educated and experienced, professional, and FUN. I woke up every morning excited for another 9-hour day of learning because the information is fascinating and their teaching style is witty, energetic, comprehensive and thorough. After returning to NC and sending out dozens of resumes to local med spas, plastic surgery and dermatology offices, I was concerned that as an inexperienced, newly licensed aesthetician, I was setting my sights too high. I was ecstatic, to say the least, when two leading medical spas offered me jobs. Throughout the interview process it was noted that my resume stood out above the rest because of the fact that I had attended National Laser Institute. I am currently employed And credit NLI entirely for my success. The only problem now is that I miss all of the instructors and friends I made in Boston! I had an absolutely fantastic experience at NLI!! I finished school Oct. 11th, flew back to northern Idaho on the 12th and immediately started applying for jobs. Today I just got hired at a very well respected and the only board certified plastic surgeon in Coeur d'Alene Idaho where I live!  The doctor that hired me said the National Laser Institute certification is what set me apart from the rest of the applicants, and was extremely impressed with my knowledge and understanding of lasers! I credit my schooling with some amazing instructors in helping and guiding me through the process with ease and making learning so interesting and fun!!

I attended the 14 day comprehensive course at National Laser Institute in Dallas, Texas. The first week we learned anatomy, skin types, laser technology, safety hazards and how all this coincide with each other. The remaining of the days we went straight into clinical and was supervised while taking patients. We did hair removal, tattoo removal, fractional, skin rejuvenation and body contouring amongst other services while using a variety of top of the line lasers that is currently used on the market today.

The school was very educational, hands-on and is everything you expect to get out of the school. I went back to Hawaii to follow my new path in laser aesthetics and I was offered a position at a laser center in Honolulu 3 and a half weeks later. Now I’m currently working as a full time laser aesthetics technician taking patients in all different services. I love the work I’m doing because it’s not only dealing with modern technology, but it is instant gratification for our patients. I would highly recommend anyone that loves the beauty industry or just needs a career change in their life to attend this school, it’s definitely worth the investment. The team in Dallas, Texas was amazing from instructors to the founder Louis Silberman. If there were any concerns, requests or just more time needed to understand a procedure they were there to find a solution. NLI is the way to go!

I accepted a position at a doctor’s office and began working less than a month after graduating. At my interview, I asked if he would like any referrals and his response was “knowing you graduated from National Laser Institute is referral enough for me.” I have had extreme success and am so excited and confident in my new career! I was finishing esthetics school, making a life change. I then went to the National Laser Institute Dallas campus, I believe I was in the 2nd class there. Once I completed my training, I was hired to run the Laser and Aesthetic Center for a dermatology practice immediately after. Recently, I was recruited to be the director of the Laser Center and MEDspa.

After a lot of research, I chose to travel from Ontario, Canada to Scottsdale, Arizona to attend National Laser Institute. My training at National Laser Institute has empowered me to start my own successful business in cosmetic laser therapy, Leah’s Laser Aesthetics and Spa. I now have confidence in my skills and have developed a reputation in my community as being knowledgeable and honest about treatments options for a variety of skin conditions.

While I offer the latest in laser technology to remove hair, treat pigmented lesions, tattoos and scars, my training at the National Laser Institute has enhanced my ability to educate patients on their lifestyle choices and the best treatment modality for their given condition. I also know when to treat and when to advise patients they are not candidates for a given therapy.

The education I received at the National Laser Institute helped to make me a local opinion leader on appropriate cosmetic laser treatments, and I have to credit the comprehensive education I received at NLI for this recognition.

I feel that all the staff truly loved  what they were teaching, and were extremely knowledgable in the field.  Less than a month after I graduated NLI I received two job offers! I have no doubt that National Laser Institute paved the way for a life long career in medical aesthetics for me.

I would say... 11/10!! I had the best experience possible, going to NLI was probably the single greatest choice I’ve ever made for my life and definitely for my career. Your instructors are absolutely incredible, I loved every single one of them. I don’t have a single complaint, only that I wish it was longer because I miss it so much lol. Also: if you ever decided to do an Advanced Laser course I would be allllll over that. Thanks for everything! I have told everyone I know & pretty much every person I talk to how awesome NLI is and I will continue to do so.

Your ladies were absolutely amazing. You have the most talented, friendly, helpful, and beautiful staff. I had told them as well as I will tell you, I had the more fun in one week with your program than I had in my one year of prior schooling. I truly did not want my training to end! The digital course book was well organized & clearly written, which made it easier to understand & follow the presenter. The presenters were extremely knowledgeable & well versed with their topics. Their demonstrations showed excellent injecting techniques.. On a scale of 1-10, this course is a 15!!!

The correspondence with different staff members before & after this class is superb. It is obvious that you & your staff have a passion for NLI & all the individuals that take your course. I highly recommend this course to my peers.

You all went above and beyond to give us even more education than what was planned for. I am so thankful that I ended up choosing to go with your school.

Each instructor was an expert in the medical aesthetics field and it was an incredible opportunity to be able to gain invaluable knowledge, tips and tricks from such expert providers. NLI created a positive online learning environment that emphasized personable and positive interaction between student and instructor. Additionally, after finishing the online course, students are sent the recorded lectures/virtual demonstrations so that it can be reviewed as many times as we'd like. Repetition is key! Overall, I easily rate NLI's course a 10/10 in all aspects: curriculum, instructor interaction, and overall satisfaction. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who is looking to get into the medical aesthetics field!!

I'm a licensed Nurse Practitioner in CA, specializing in OB/Gyn for 22 yrs. Last year (2014), I felt that I was ready for a career move so I checked out training classes in Aesthetic Medicine. National Laser Institute stood out as the most reputable & offered the most comprehensive training.

So I took the full 2 weeks of training in Scottsdale, AZ. My Instructors & teachers were great. They were very knowledgeable & experienced. After my training, I felt that I was fully prepared & skilled to take on my new role as an Aesthetic NP.

Upon returning to CA, I had a job interview lined up the next day, & lo & behold.... I was hired on the spot! Wow, I can't believe it! I got a job the next day after my training! God is good!

I am an RN and I just completed a week-long training program at National Laser Institute (NLI). I usually don't take time to write reviews but I absolutely have to this time.  I have heard good things about NLI but I was still a little nervous to invest the time & money into this program.
However... wow! I don't think I could have found a better school than this!!  I don't even know where to start because everyone at the school is amazing. The owner, Louis is full of energy and very passionate about what he does.  My advisor, Jennifer was amazing and answered every single question I had.  The front desk girls are so helpful and friendly.  Tracey, the spa manager is very helpful to all the students.  Every one of the instructors I had (Allison, Dawn, Jan, Dr.Treen, Dr. Hooker, Tess and others...) were so knowledgeable.  The full days were perfectly organized, the lectures were amazing and you get so much hands-on training of various techniques, and on how to deal with and handle clients!  The NLI staff make you feel like family - they are all friendly, fun and happy to help with anything you need.  I also met so many amazing people there and learned more than I ever thought I could in a very concentrated but fun week.  I never thought I would love this school so much.  I would recommend NLI to anyone!  I was honestly sad to leave after my completion and I know I will be back for some more training in the future as I fell in love with this field and this school.  A big "thank you!" to everyone at NLI for the amazing experience.

I loved their instruction to our individual needs. The didactic portion was excellent and comprehensive. After this course, all you need to do is get to work!

I had a great time at NLI and was completely impressed with everyone. Louis is a trip. Everyone made me feel like a rock star and I will most definitely send my staff out there for training when that time comes. Louis talked about selling an experience and you guys have that covered. The training is also top notch. I didn't want to leave, it was that much fun. Being surrounded by all of those women definitely had its appeal too. Back to reality now.
