I wanted to take a minute and give some feedback on my experience during the Comprehensive Laser Course that began last month (January of 2014). I have to say that I had pretty high expectations going into the class. Our esthetics class at Ogle School got to visit your institute where a great gal by the name of Sam sold us on why lasers are “where it’s at” basically. I knew instantly that I was going to sign up for the course. My desire to continue learning everything that I can was right in line with NLI. It’s a decision that I’ll NEVER regret!

When you go into something like this with about 6 or so instructors, I think it’s normal to have 1 or 2 (out of the six) really good instructors. After our rotations and getting to spend time with ALL of the NLI instructors, I felt like I was living on the Stepford Wives show! EVERY SINGLE INSTRUCTOR was not only sweet, kind, beautiful, and in most cases HILARIOUS, they were an absolute indispensible resource to the students that wanted to learn as much as possible. I hope that Mr. Silberman realizes (and I’m sure he does) how lucky he is to have the lineup at NLI Dallas that he has.

During my time at National Laser Institute, I was busy being INSPIRED and MIND-BLOWN by these AMAZING and KNOWLEDGEABLE women. It was crazy. I still can’t believe how incredible everyone was. The best part is that they each had stories with life lessons about this industry, and every question we had was answered AND elaborated on. Not to mention the camaraderie amongst the instructors. What a great example they were for those of us just getting our feet wet!

I had to get this off my chest. National Laser Institute runs a phenomenal program, and I am going to recommend it to all of my friends going through esthetics school. I will definitely be back to learn something new in the future! In the meantime, I’m looking for a job (I just received my esthetics license yesterday) so I’m going to hit the ground running. I live around Southlake so if you hear of anything please let me know! I can’t wait to go show off my laser skills!

And Shelby, thank you for everything. I know that your job is never-ending, but you’re great at managing NLI (and not to mention all of the crazy behind-the-scenes work that you do too, I’m sure). You were always kind, gracious and helpful and it’s nice to know that someone like you is at the helm of these amazing women. Please pass this message to everyone, including Mr. Silberman! From years in the customer service industry, I know how important it is to here the POSITIVE words.

That’s it. My only negative feedback is that there’s not a Starbucks INSIDE NLI. Somebody might wanna work on that. Ha! Thanks again, from the bottom of my heart. You gave me an invaluable gift.
