As a laser hair reduction technician, you will use state-of-the-art laser technology to target the pigment of hair follicles within your client’s skin. The hair is destroyed at the root and does not grow back. Laser hair reduction technicians can performed laser hair reduction on almost any part of the body, including bikini, upper lip, underarms, back, and many more.

Laser Hair Reduction School Training
In most states, you need to complete a certain number of classroom training hours and a certain amount of clinical training hours in order to become a cosmetic laser tech. This course includes 40 hours of classroom education in the fundamentals of laser hair reduction education as well as 24 hours of hands-on clinical training in a retail medical spa where attendees will practice on scheduled clients in order to get the real world feel of laser technology.
