The Hottest Medical Aesthetic Training Treatments for 2023

Are you interested in learning the hottest medical aesthetic training treatments for 2023? Everyone knows that Botox and dermal fillers are common staple treatments in any cosmetic injector’s toolbox. However, there are many more treatments you can perform as a cosmetic injector.

Medical Aesthetic Training Treatments for 2023

1. Medical Aesthetic Training: CoolSculpting

What is CoolSculpting body contouring?

First, let’s go over what is involved in CoolSculpting body contouring treatments. With this in mind, CoolSculpting is a type of body contouring treatment that rids the body of unwanted fat without using any type of surgical measure. Moreover, CoolSculpting is specifically one of the hottest medical aesthetic training treatments for 2023 because it uses controlled cooling to get rid of unwanted fat.

How does CoolSculpting work?

CoolSculpting body contouring uses controlled cooling which targets fat non-surgically. Due to this, the body’s fat cells crystallize from the cooling and die off. Over time, the fat cells are eliminated through the body’s own natural processes. cosmetic injector learns coolsculpting as medical aesthetic training treatment

CoolSculpting can be used to contour the following areas:

  • Abdomen
  • Inner and outer thighs
  • Arms
  • Double chin
  • Love handles

2. Medical Aesthetic Training: PRF Platelet-Rich Fibrin Injections

cosmetic injector learns PRF injections as a medical aesthetic training treatmentWhat are platelet-rich fibrin injections?

Platelet-Rich Fibrin injections give the skin a refreshing, rejuvenated, and luminous appearance. As well as that, PRF medical aesthetic treatments can be more effective than PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) injections because PRF injections release extended growth factors. With this in mind, the platelet-rich fibrin continues to work long after the procedure has been completed. Moreover, PRP injections do still hold value in the medical aesthetic arena. PRF is just a more advanced treatment that provides amazing results.

How do PRF injections work?

First, to obtain the PRF, or platelet-rich fibrin, needed for the medical aesthetic treatments, a small amount of blood is taken from the patient. Next, the blood is spun in a centrifuge which separates the platelets from the white and red blood cells.

How is PRF used?

Platelet-rich fibrin is used to treat sun damage, dark circles, wrinkling, scarring, and volume loss due to age.

PRF is used underneath the eyes to treat dark circles. As well as that, platelet-rich fibrin is used in the tear troughs and deep fold-like wrinkles. In addition, PRF is used to assist in volume recovery. Also PRF is used for treatment of wrinkles, fine lines, and hair loss.

3. Medical Aesthetic Training: PDO Threads

cosmetic injector learns where to place PDO threads as part of medical aesthetic trainingWhat are PDO threads?

PDO, or polydioxanone, threads are threads made up of a synthetic material that will absorb back into the body. However the results from PDO threads are long-lasting medical aesthetic treatment as they take about 6 months for the threads to dissolve.

What are the different types of PDO threads?

One type of PDO threads, called cog threads, are used to provide the patient with an immediate mechanical lift to the face. As well as that, cog threads provide a delayed lift. With this in mind, the threads are designed so that the tissue heals around the thread, ensuring the lifting effects are still visible, once the thread dissolves.

On the other hand, monofilament PDO threads are a single-fiber thread. Monofilament threads also provide lifting and tightening effects on the area targeted.

How do PDO threads work?

With this in mind, PDO threads work by creating a supporting structure underneath the skin to both lift and tighten the area targeted. To achieve this result, PDO threads are placed within the skin using a tiny hypodermic needle.

Happy Students Attend National Laser Institute

“I just completed the Comprehensive Laser Course at NLI in Scottsdale Arizona and I am so excited! The course far exceeded my expectations in every way. I already knew that I would be attending the most respected school in the industry, but after completing the course I now know why National Laser Institute has that reputation. The reason is Louis SIlberman! Everything about Louis is first class. Everything from his catered Skin Scene Events, to the equipment the students and staff have access to, to the exceptional staff he employs. From the moment you meet Louis you are inspired by his energy and out going personality. He is genuine and cares about every student. He is personally involved and makes it a point to meet each and every student at each and every campus every time a new class starts. You can count on Louis to be there if they need anything. His positive energy and motivational atmosphere is felt throughout the NLI campus. His standards are extremely high and his instructors are a reflection of that. They are the absolute best! The energy at NLI is so infectious that I could not wait to attend my evening class each night after a long hard day at work. If you want a first class education, I can tell you this is the place to come. Every instructor made sure we were comfortable with the information we learned in the classroom and the clinical floor. I feel extremely confident in my skills because of the very small class size that allowed the instructors to focus on each student. The instructors are approachable and they welcomed any and all questions. We not only had fun in class, we experienced real life interactions with clients. We learned about products, micro needling, teeth whitening and so much more. In addition to all the above we were able to get treatments on ourselves. The instructors made that possible for us by helping us plan our treatments from the beginning of the course. Thank you everyone at NLI. Thank you to the instructors for caring and being so amazing and supportive. Thank you to the staff at the front desk and an extra special thank you to Louis. Thank you so much for creating NLI and truly caring about every student, client and employee that walk through the NLI doors and for making my dream a reality!”- Zellie
