  • Soft Tissue Fillers (2.68 million procedures)
  • Chemical Peel (1.38 million procedures)
  • Laser Hair Removal (1.1 million procedures)
  • Microdermabrasion (709,413 procedures)

The new medical aesthetics stats also show emerging trends in skin rejuvenation, particularly Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP). In one year, the number of treatments performed jumped by 12 percent! Another notable trend was the increase in body contouring procedures such as CoolSculpting, which increased by 6 percent.
