Tattoo Removal Training
There’s a very real reason for tattoo removal training. Let us explain:
Your body is a canvas. It’s a work of art. You should treat it with love and respect. It gives life and is a temple that should be cherished.
Perhaps author Jess C. Scott said it best when she said, “The body is the best work of art.”
So then please tell us that you didn’t just pay someone to tattoo the rainbow Care Bear on your left butt cheek.
Yes, you’re 19 years old. Yes, it’s totally adorable (now). But someday in the future (maybe when you’re having a baby and wearing a split-back hospital gown), you will regret the day you put a cartoon on your booty.
Trust us. We’re old. Before laser removal, we had cartoons from our own generation on our butts.
Tattoo removal training:
Luckily for those of us that have ever required such services, tattoo removal training is a thing.
In fact, it’s a thing that you should look into. Moreover, tattoo removal training is a thing that will lead to a financially secure future with great pay, benefits, and work hours.
It is indeed your lucky day because at National Laser Institute we actually offer tattoo removal training! In fact, we offer some of the best in the country (check out our reputation here!). If you are 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or GED, you are eligible for enrollment!
Tattoo removal:
Tattoo removal is as much of an art form as getting the actual tattoo itself. No, laser technicians don’t apply fresh ink, but they do something equally important. With a craft honed from experience and detailed training, cosmetic laser technicians eliminate the markings of unwanted body art.
The desire to remove tattoos stretches as far back as tattoo art goes. If you think that there weren’t ancient Mayans that immediately regretted their body art, you’re wrong.
Attempts at tattoo removal have an equally rich, and often gory, history as well.
Luckily today, with modern, studied technology, the world of medical aesthetics and tattoo removal is a bit more civilized (and much less painful).
Gone are the days of scraping the skin with rocks. Thanks to some truly brilliant minds, we now use sophisticated lasers to eradicate unwelcome tattoos.
The science:
During a laser tattoo removal session, practitioners (this is where you come in!) target a laser over the tattooed area. Intermittent pulses of light focused on the embedded ink penetrate the skin to absorb the pigment. In short, the rooted ink particles suck up the laser energy. They then heat and splinter into even tinier particles.
In the weeks following the laser session, the body naturally flushes away the destroyed particles. As a result, the tattoo fades.
It takes several sessions (an average of 10 to 15) the particles are splintered more and more. Eventually, the skin is free of the bothersome ink.
What do those enrolled in tattoo removal training do?
Sorry! We didn’t mean to put the laser before the horse.
This answer is easy enough. Those enrolled in tattoo removal training learn to operate the hi-tech lasers designed to destroy the offending tattoos.
Tattoo removal training is taught in our Online Comprehensive Laser Course. The online course, attended live by enrollees, will teach you everything you need to know about becoming a cosmetic laser technician. In fact, in two weeks or less, you will actually be a trained laser tech ready to work in the field of medical aesthetics.
Skills gained from tattoo removal training:
Students will gain in-depth knowledge of tattoo removal. Upon exiting the program, graduates will understand the intricacies of the art of eradicating tattoos by becoming experts on different skin types and approaches and advanced laser techniques.
You can’t effectively attack a problem unless you understand it well. With that in mind, we will teach you all you need to know about tattoo ink, how it interacts with skin, and the optimal methods for eradication for individuals. You will be skilled enough to perform a thorough evaluation and consultation with clients and create a plan tailored to their needs and particular tattoo.
You will be similarly confident in your knowledge of how tattoos change over time and the best laser methods to eradicate them. Enrollees also learn the risks and benefits of tattoo removal as well as pre-and post-care and contraindications.
Once you understand the complexities of tattoos and skin, you will learn proper tattoo removal techniques. With attention to laser safety, you will know the different types of lasers work and how to use them to their fullest potential.
TLDR: At National Laser Institute we will teach you how to safely operate awesome cosmetic lasers to get rid of clients’ embarrassing old tattoos that they got from a street vendor on vacation.
The rest of the training:
Keep in mind, that when you enroll in our two-week Online Comprehensive Laser Course you’ll receive much more than just tattoo laser training. As a student becoming a cosmetic laser technician, you will receive a well-rounded education on all things cosmetic laser.
Our medical aesthetics industry professionals (a great group of dermatologists, plastic surgeons, cosmetic laser technicians, and aesthetic nurses) will also teach you about laser hair removal, Photofacial, laser skin rejuvenation, Radiofrequency skin rejuvenation, skin tightening, cellulite reduction, Microneedling, and much more.
At NLI, we can promise that your knowledge base on cosmetic lasers and their potential will be broad and well-balanced upon leaving our program.
The market:
Tattoo removal is a hot ticket item right now and so are the jobs to perform it. Like the other branches of medical aesthetics, tattoo removal popularity is sky-high. Tattoo regret is driving people into the seats of cosmetic laser technicians faster than they can fire up their lasers!
As a cosmetic laser technician, you will have more than enough clients, needing more than enough sessions (remember 10 to 15 per removal!) to fill your appointment book.
Online data shows that in 2018 alone, the revenue from tattoo removal exceeded $83 million. That is A LOT of terrible ink being blasted into tiny particles.
As an average tattoo removal costs between $200 to $500 per session, cosmetic laser technicians are in a prime position to make some fantastic profits.
And, yes, we get it. The profit is from somebody else’s mistake or misery. But hey! They want that tattoo off and after tattoo removal training you will have the power to do it. So, take your client’s unwelcome ink and their cash! It’s a win-win situation. You pay your rent and their self-esteem skyrockets!
It’s time to enroll or get off the pot!
